Full Peruvian and 5/16 Accoyo, Mikayla is a pretty female with excellent size, bone and coverage. Her dark fawn fleece is bright with a soft buttery handle. She has a nice crimp structure coming in at the skin. She has a correct bite, a very attractive head and a full-fleeced face which are all attributes of her sire, Admiral. Her grand dam is Ivana Gold and her sire is 17 time 1st, 2nd, 3rd or Championship winning Herdsire, Admiral. Melina (white) was bred to Admiral (dark fawn) hoping to produce color and it worked...Mikayla's fleece is a gorgeous dark fawn. Mikayla's lineage includes Accoyo Axel and Altiplano Gold genetics! Also Accoyo Camillo, Accoyo Royal Fawn, Peruvian Magnum (National Champion, Peruvian Camelot, and PPPeruvian Misty Maiden, commonly referred to as "The Dam of the Century". Just prior to a recent new record, she held the all time high auction price for females at $205,000. Misty Maiden has been bred 8-9 times, each time with a different Service Sire and each time has produced Champions. That means the outstanding genetics are in her blood line. Lily's sire is Magical Farms Black Peruvian Royal Forest and her grand sire is one of the best known true black herd sires on the west coast, Black Thunder. Her fleece has very good staple length and a nice crimp structure. She is a sweet girl and an excellent mom with lots of milk. We were pleasantly surprised when we returned from the KY CLASSIC on Sunday Oct. 24th to see a True Black female cria in the field. Lily was right at 11 months, we were watching, but not expecting a cria for another week or so. The cria was only 10.8 pounds, but was very healthy from the first day! She doubled her weight in two weeks and in 18 days has reached 24.4 pounds! Her Daughter Mulan, is very pleasing in conformation and fleece. She is very upright with a straight top line and excellent posture. Her fleece is very bright, soft, and dense. Mulan has matured into a really nice size girl with very nice fleece. We are very happy with Lilies first and second crias and expect she will have many more to come! And they could be yours. JAZMYN HAS BEEN EXPOSED TO OUR MULTI-CHAMPION HERDSIRE, LUMINOSITY, AND SELLS WITH THIS BREEDING! Jazmyn is a very nice True Black daughter of Snowmass Nova's Private Reserve XX. She has excellent conformation and a very soft handle. Her fleece is very soft and has crimpy little bundles that are even throughout her blanket. She has grown into a beautiful young lady. UPDATE: PEARL HAS GIVEN US A TRULY NICE DARK BROWN MALE CRIA. IT IS TOO EARLY TO SAY HE IS HERDSIRE MATERIAL, BUT WE REALLY LIKE WHAT WE SEE FOR THIS AGE! WE WILL HOPEFULLY BE SHOWING IN THE SPRING OF 2013. WE WILL BE BREEDING PEARL TO CANTERBURY'S TOPGUN THIS FALL! Pearl has excellent conformation and density. Tim Lavan elaborated on her presence when entering the ring at the Ky. Classic. He commented on her stature and how well behaved she was. Pearl has given us a beautiful true black female cria out of Black Icecapade and she is beautiful. Lady has a very nice fleece and has done well in the shows she has been in. She took a second, as the youngest in the class, in her first show at the Southern Select. The oldest girl in the class went on to be the Color Champion. Her second show, The Best of the US was a very large and competitive show with with the juvi true black females having 16 entries and being split into two classes. Again she was one of the youngest in the class and placed 4th. So we now know the quality Pearl is capable of throwing and if she does not sell she will remain in our foundation herd.

Masquerade has a beautiful medium silver grey fleece that is very consistent in color and fleece characteristics. Her fleece is extremely dense with a very nice handle. She is a little smaller than I would like for her to be, but she makes up for it with her wonderful fleece qualities. she has been bred to our true black herdsire, The Wiseman for a fall cria. Her sire is the full brother to Legends Challenger. One of the more prominent grey herdsires in the eastern half of the States. Nice price on this quality.

Emmie is a beautiful big boned true black female with exceptional confirmation and a gorgeous head. Her fleece is still extremely nice. Mulan is a nice size girl with beautiful fleece and conformation. Her fleece is very bright with a medium crimp structure and nice long staple. It is very fine and quite dense for a black. Mulan is also very easy to work with and likes being around us when we are in the barn and pasture. Her dam is our own Lily, who is out of Magical Farms Black Forest. Lily was a little on the small side so we took her to a really nice size light brown herdsire, Delta Force, and boy did he add the size to Mulan! We were also able to retain the dams true black color that we were hoping to accomplish with this pairing! We are very happy with the way Mulan has matured. We have bred Mulan to The Wiseman, our true black herdsire. This breeding is included in the sell price and should produce an extremely nice cria!

Grand River has just released the information that DARK SHADDOW has been retired. We have loved this male from the 1st time we seen him and have been very happy with his offspring we have seen. Although we are saddened by this news we are happy to have bought this male. We feel certain he will carry on the excellence of the DARK SHADDOW line. NASA sports a dense, fine handled fleece,has great bone, conformation and bite. His fleece qualities are a direct reflection of his lineage, as two superbly fleeced animals were carefully selected to achieve them. His dam, Princess Tierra, has superior density and character throughout her fleece, which was rosy in her youth, and has now become mostly light silver. His sire, Stormy Night, has exceptional character, as well as tremendous volume in his fleece. His grandsire, Peruvian Serono, is well-known for maintaining fleece values with age. Wiseman's fleece has exceptional density and staple length with a high frequency crimp. It is as bright as any black I have ever seen. His first histogram was an incredible 17.9 and his third fleece was still under 21 this is not often seen in true blacks. Wiseman's conformation is flawless with big bone, straight top line, with stick straight legs. Wiseman has matured into a very impressive male. He has a very gentle personality and is an excellent breeder. If you like Dark Shaddow and want to add his blood lines to your herd this is a way to do so at a very reasonable fee. Mercedes Dam, Poetry, is Canadian bred, still had a 23 micron at 9 years old, and is a blue ribbon winner at AOBA Nationals in 1999. Both Dam and Sire have won multiple blue ribbons for their fleece so Mercedes has very well bred genetics. All Mercedes cria have had very fine fleeces and she has thrown grey two of four times. She has a bashful personality and is very easy to work with.

Gracie has the markings of a gray, with her face being lighter and darkening as you go down her neck. This is not surprising given her background. Gracie's sire is BRUNO, a herdsire at Alpacas Of America in Washington. He is the son of Bolivian Mocha and is absolutely beautiful! Her Dam is Miss Pryme Tyme, an exceptional True Black girl that we purchased from Alpacas Of America in December 05. Gracie has very dense fiber with high frequency crimp that starts in her top knot and continues down her legs! She has dark markings on her face and black toe nails. She has given us two cria both are true black out of true black herdsires. We think she would be a nice addition to most any foundation herd.

An intriguing young lady, in color and genetics. Stardust's dam is a medium brown by a silver gray sire, who has had two true black crias prior to Stardust and has held her 23 micron fiber into her fifth year. Her sire is NASA, a multi-award winning medium rose gray. Although Stardust is registered as light fawn, she has the white face of a gray, along with very dark toenails, eyes and pigmentation. Her conformation is solid and her crias fleece have been very fine and bright, with superb handle and good character. Her latest cria out of The Wiseman is a very pretty medium rose grey! She has the presence of her sire, very upright and proud. She is an excellent mom with the most milk I have ever seen an alpaca have!

Tryphena is a Jet Black girl with nice size and full coverage from head to toe. Her conformation is flawless with a straight top line and stick straight legs. Tryphenas fleece has nice density and has an extremely soft handle and nice staple length. She is the daughter of one of the best known grey herdsires in the country, Request the Best, who is no longer breeding! She has her sires head which is that perfect triangular shape that everybody breeds for. Tryphena also has a very sweet, easy going personality that is so important in a good foundation female. We have bred her to TSC Grant, one of our true black herdsires, out of DPA Quetzal and she is confirmed pregnant.
